-
its 1 bulb mate twin filament bulb 5w/21w and yes they will have these in stock mate

As above, and to fit them, pull back the carpet behind each side of the rear lights, undo the 2 nuts (think its 12mm) gently pull out the connector and the whole light cluster comes off.
Then just unclip the plastic retainer to expose the bulbs.

cheers lads, going to get it today, will let you know how i get on :)

My stop and tial bulbs are single filiment, put extra power to it when the brake is one, So the above info is incorrect for my gti.

.........i changed one the other week & mine was just a single filament (the one that had blown was the same) so just replaced like for like. The bulb warning lamp on dash went out straight away & all works fine.

Guys, bit of a weird one, my indicator bulb blew tonight, same side of the car as the brake light. Can anyone tell me what bulb i need to get as i'll have to go get it tomorrow
Got the brake light bulb sorted by the way, thanks, it was the single filament 382 bulb, managed to get the 380 ones changed

PY21W I think.
-
Yeah single filament. The CECM cycles power to them when required to "brighten" them up during the braking cycle.
