There's a list somewhere of other forums and this is one of them. In fact, it's where I learnt the most about the mk5 before buying one!

the only problem is there is a huge amount of bitching going on there, and most posts involves the words "sick" and "subscribed" and in the end it gets boring

A quick scan of the site and I want to rip my eyes out. They have some piss poor taste. Cars of that class deserve better.

I visit every now & again. Got one of the  '' fast'' creatures ? that VW gave away to the first mk5 GTI owners for a bargain off there.

.
I visit occasionally too. The Golf is a cheapo to most yankee lads and the youth culture is different. There's good as well as bad taste across the pond. Once you accept the way they post it's not such a problemo. Their forum Moderators do feck all and that's partly why it's how it is.

I used to hang out there a lot of the time. Was one of the first people and oldest members there as it happens.
Ever since I started coming here, I rarely visit now.
