Title: Rear wiper not working ?.

Was fine first thing today when it was raining. Just been out & now nothing ??, not even when i select reverse. Fronts work & wash fine. Checked the fuse blue 15amp i think from what i can make out in the hand book but its not blown ?. My mate who is a vw tech has just gone on holiday today.

My money's on the wiper motor having given up the ghost. Has the rear wiper been a bit erratic recently?

Is the tailgate shut properly? I thought mine had packed up once but it turned out I hadn't shut the boot properly.

I had this for about a week on my old 06 GTI, it wouldn't do a thing then one day shortly after cleaning the car it started working again. They seem to confuse themselves now and again. Sorry I can't be anymore help.

..........thanks for that. I did have the seats cleaned today & he did do the boot carpet as well.,Chucked my kit bag in on the way to work today so will try this on the way home, bloke at work said the same & he has a golf. :happy2:

...........spot on. The valater had done my seats but had been in the boot as well & can't have shut it properly  :grin:. I only put it in the garage last night so the warning light didn't come on.
Chucked my kit in the boot to come home & tried it & works as before, what a t*t i'am should have checked the hatch first  :grin:  :laugh:
