Title: Hello - Picked up Edition 30 in White 5dr - DSG - NEW Pictures Enclosed

It has taken a while to find, but I have brought an Edition 30 in CW, 5dr, DSG, Sunroof, SatNav, Xenons, MFSW, etc............

It's a 57 plate, FVWSH, and only has 11,000 miles on the clock.

I don't like the painted bonnet, the rear windows are a little to dark for my liking, and really not sure about the wheels, apart from that I love it :happy2:

Blimey looks like you've done well with the mileage and spec on that one too. I've just picked up my Ed30 with 18k on the clock its an 57 2008 registered plate and I thought 18k was low. Get some pics up!!!!

Post by: Kiwi on August 14, 2010, 11:15:08 am: Bumed, Garage has called to tell me a tale about how the service centre, found a big chunck out of one of the tyres, they ordered a tyre and went to change it, but the last owner never left the locking wheel nut, so they have had to order new locking wheel nuts, and cut/remove the old ones. so no the car will not be ready until Monday.

The rear windows are privacy glass - again, another option that's good to have.

Post by: Kiwi on August 17, 2010, 10:18:23 am: The bonnet is painted, and for it to be done, back to white is going to cost £250, as the black paint job was just masked off and painted over the top of the white bonnet, so the black paint is raised and chipping away.

The tint is far too dark, I'am picking up a steam gun, and taking it all of this weekend

Still looking for some Edition 30 wheels also, I want the OEM look

Post by: Greeners on August 17, 2010, 10:56:17 pm: See if you can pick up a set of BBS VZ's as these look identical to Pescara's but have a better offset and are 8'' wide so sit in the arches much better! :happy2:

PS, see if someone with a CW GTI wants to swap bonnets with you! :wink:

Post by: NeilM on August 18, 2010, 06:54:48 pm: Nice one & low millage, I was worried about the edge of the paint chipping, but mine is the other way round (painted white on black carbon bonnet). I was going to pin stripe over the edge if it happened but its been ok. :happy2:
