Fancy a weekend up  at Knockhill race circuit.  :driver:

The forum is proud to be able to auction 2 full weekend entry, and VIP passes as a guest of the above BTCC race team, at knockhill on the 4th & 5th of September.

These passes get you pit lane access, race car driver briefing and inside the pit viewing of the tec's and mechanics working and setting up the car pre-race.

Both guests also get fed and watered all day long, including breakfast in the teams corporate set up behind the pit garage.  :pomppomp:

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Ftomashandmilly%2Fjaps%2FimagesqtbnANd9GcSgmOCxERuU_C6ADkv-9W1LSsUEUEQy58GKbmGbw7VlD-KlmPMt1usg__EofGtkbuDMGyWsphh3lhpUi_8y4.jpg&hash=55e8ca9e27bcc4b49c282161c62621b87a6b8b07)

The entry tickets alone for 2 guests on both days would come to around one hundred pound, not counting the food and hospitality that is also thrown in.

The auction starts straight away and closes on the 27th Aug at 9PM.  Highest bidder wins whether its 10 pound or 200 pound.  :happy2:

Please PM sealed bids to SteveP, and we will will update the thread with bid news daily.

All of the proceeds of this auction will get donated straight to the Help for Heroes.  http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/

as chosen by Milltek, who are very passionate in supporting this campaign.  :notworthy:

So come on bag yourself a great weekend out watching a Mk5 golf in the BTCC event at Knockhill.  :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:

The forum admin would also like to thank AMD/Milltek very much for donating this to our forum.  :happy2:

I've watched the BTCC here a couple of years ago. What a bloody brilliant day that was and to win these passes would be fantastic. Just as much fun to watch were the legends, single seaters and I think there was even a porsche race but memories a little sketchy. Just a shame I work shifts and covering that weekend :sad1:. Shame as it'd be a good little blast up from brizzle!

All your thanks need to go to the big cheese at Milltek, he has invested a big wedge in supporting this race team, and part of that investment is seeing genuine Mk 5 enthusiasts keenly following what they are doing. I believe Knock hill is one of the best circuits for viewing as well, and possible adverse weather conditions, can only add to the action.

Congratulations, and well done to both of you guys for bidding.  :happy2:

You take some nice shots, scotta  :notworthy:

'The Big Cheese' at Milltek (Phil Millington) is a genuine enthusiast, not just a businessman, he's a great host.

Yes, at the moment. But I know he's not greatly impressed by it.. Doesn't inspire him. In fact he may have already changed it.
