Some B@stards put paint stripper on my friends car the other day and its all over the roof, spoiler and bonnet, she has a carbon fibre bonnet and its pretty ruined i think but untill she sorts things with the insurance and gets it all sorted is there anything she can put on her car to stop it rusting as the roof as already started to get a bit of surface rust?

it'd only be surface rust, so i wouldnt worry. before they respray it, it would be sanded back to the metal anyway

Some poor chap on DW got his Mini splashed with industrial strength paint stripper on every panel. Took three months to get sorted via insurance.
I don't know whether it'd be possible to wash off the remaining stripper or whether it'd worsen the paintwork.

paint stripper has to be rubbed right to just about bare metal and treated before ut is painted back over..

Hearing of stuff like this makes my blood boil! I think I'd throw paint stripper onto their face if I caught any scum like that.

Thanks guys, yeah shes really upset about it, its only a old civic but she loves it! We arent sure who done it as it was done when she was asleep! The car was even on her drive! She was targetted as there were other cars on her drive and road and not one of them were touched!

Hope you can find out who and why they did it then send some large friends round to negotiate an outcome suitable to your friends wishes...or simply just beat the crap out of them :fighting:

A friend of mine with an original Ford Escort RS got his keyed by a jealous ex while on his drive. He's 99% certain it was her.

i had my windshield painted gold once. i know exactly who did it, but couldnt prove anything. so i took a sh!t on his bonnet.
insurance did my windshield for free with no excess, and he had to clean of my sh*t from his car. 1-0 to me :grin:
