Hounslow?  Which Garage?  If you are near Hounslow you want to get down to Ace next Tues for VAG night

Can't say I have seen it.  Silver street are a fairly decent garage.  I nearly a Scirocco Scala from there about 15 years ago.

Are you having snags with the car?

Front cover to service book was missing, one of the reasons i would like to find out about the car,
a few little problems when i got the car but all sorted now,
and no im not local to Hounslow otherwise i would have gone to meet.
Also i thought YX was london?

According to this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_the_United_Kingdom

YX is Beverley in Yorkshire.

So according to Wicky my 'VW05 RED' was registered in Severn Valley / Worcester.. Not so, but it's of no importance - It's a useful guide, Stu  :drinking:

But did you get lucky and have that plate from the outset or did you buy it separately?  That would explain things.

For instance I could have bought BE60 STU, it would have still been fitted to my car in Newbury but it obviously isn't a Newbury plate.

On that note I think you'll have a chuckle at the reg number of mine Robin

That's because it's a private plate   V* is my local plate (Worcester) but I've yet to see any VW plates around that aren't private plates.

.... You gonna keep the plate 'til you're 60, Stu?

I got lucky and got my plate from the outset.

Only a few days for you now! Your spec S3 Sportback is the only one I'd consider... Very nice! Wanna see pics in due course. :happy2:
