Title: weird sound

Noticed it today.

The only way I can describe it is that sound you get when you blow across the top of an empty glass bottle - a kind of hollow, deep ring. Not particularly loud and noticeable only on some road surfaces.

Just wondering if something's worn out. I'm taking the car into VW next week so would be nice to have an idea.

Sounds like uneven tyre wear. What tyres do you have Jaz?

Michelin Sport PS2 all round.

I've booked it in to VW to have a look at as well as sort out the ABS.
