Title: mk5 red 5dr gt wheels
Post by: daz5182 on September 23, 2010, 02:27:40 pm: Hi there, just after some pics please of wheels on a mk 5 gti/gt 5dr, i have been looking for ages for wheels to get for my gt that i get early next week and can't decide for the life of me, some look good onthe 3dr and poor on the 5dr..... HELP!!!

Mine are genuine 18" Monza II's . I had 18" monza II reps before these and the quality was terrible on my particular set . In about 9 months they needed a full refurb.

No brainer mate. Buy Genuine or buy twice!!!! :wink:

My genuine Monza's weren't cheap but they were mint and had Michelins. :party:

Post by: Richn83 on September 27, 2010, 02:57:54 pm: The detriots or huffs that Steve is on about where the wheels that the german version of the car came with (think they might have been an option on the UK spec) they arent really painted its a proper powder coated finish to a Monza II wheel and the ones I have seen have a silver lip round the outside where the black finish has been machined off.
