Title: ED30 Splitter VS VOTEX Splitter

Just come back from VW with intentions to buy the ED30 front splitter, but the parts guy bought up the Votex splitter also and i didnt know what the difference was between them except for the price, and he couldnt tell me either.

So if someone can tell me what the differences between the two are that would be great, and also pics of the two to show the difference. :happy2:

Price i got from VW was:
£203.76 + 17.5% VAT = £239.41

Awesome:
£269.00 + 17.5% VAT = £316.08

i think it was £170 ex vat, but cant confirm this as i wanted the ED30 one.

do you have pics of both so can see the differences?

Its the same design as the ED30 splitter but it has a gap inbetween the top and the lip where as the ED30 one is solid :happy2:

As you can see the Votex one has the bars

Personally i prefer the Votex splitter :happy2:

i've just done a search on here and found a part number for the Votex Splitter

"The lower lip spoiler is the Votex front splitter.

Part Number:

1KM0716099AX

Again, available from your VW Dealer, priced at Ã‚Â£224"

i've just got back from them and have ordered one in, the parts guy said there is none in stock, but once an order is paid for then they can chase it down with VW UK. So looking roughly 1-2weeks for it to arrive.
