Title: Quantum Platinum 5w-40??

Golf needs a top up and ive always put in 5w-30, just popped to VW and theyve handed me the above. Am i right or is the 5w-40 fine?

Ideally needs to be 5w-30.

If it's VW 504 approved then it'll be ok.   :smiley:
