Evening Folks,
My exhaust tips are looking a bit worse for wear after being neglected by the previous owner. Instead of going through the ball ache of trying to bring them up to a reasonable standard, perhaps its just worth me getting a new set.
Does anyone have the part number for the exhaust tip for the Ed30? (not sure if they are the same as the standard GTI)
Also, does anyone know if they are easy to remove/fit?
Thanks
Rich

They are welded on Rich so you would need a new back box if you were to go with an oem replacement...
Take a trip to Pipeworx and get some new tips welded on, cost me £60 for some new ones and i went for some slightly larger than stock to help fill the exhaust cut-out :happy2:

It's easy to turn them around and make them shine again

Don't bother as they will be dirty again a weeks time :signLOL:
I may even go for standard GTI (no disrespect meant I would be more than happy with a non ED30!) backbox when the time comes as I like the less glitzy bling stealth look.

I've got the Milltek ED30 system on mine Rich but had the tails on the stock exhaust done when i first got the car, 3" slash cut same as oem but bigger :happy2:

Do you have any pics of said pipes please? I might look into this as I'd like bigger exits but don't want to buy a catback!

Get yourself down to halfords and buy some autosol metal polish for about £5 and spend 5-10mins polishing and they will be mint....
