Maybe just needs rebooting, low on ram?

Press and hold the home button (the big round one at the bottom of the screen) and the on/off button UNTIL you see the white apple symbol then let go.
It will cycle through the "slide to turn off" and then switch off and then the Apple symbol comes up. Then you let go.
This forces the device to do a Reset and will clear the RAM Cache etc. Will normally solve most running probs. You really need to upgrade as well :happy2:

Upgrade is not necessary, I'm still running 3.2

You can update from his computer but you will be left with a blank iPhone as the updates wipe the phone.
-
blank as in no contacts and pics?

Unfortunately yes mate until you can resync with your computer :sad1:

I get this a lot, just download any free app from the app store and the problem goes away!
-
I thought Apple stuff never crashed? :signLOL:
-
My girlfriends mac crashed more than my vaio ever did!
-
In the near 3 years i've owned Apple products not one has ever crashed.
The only thing that has ever had a problem was Office For Mac which was eventually sorted by an update.
I think on average my Windows based computers (and i've had top end ones including Alienware) crashed or had to be rebooted once every 3-4 months.
Maybe im just lucky with Apple & unlucky with Windows.
-
^^^I must be the opposite. I used to use Macs in a lab and pretty much everyday it would crash. At the time, my Win-based laptop would do it once a week, on average.
Ditto with iPhone. I have to do a hard-reset every two-three days or so. Maybe I'm Mac-incompatible? :stupid:
