Title: Golf R Prices
Post by: SO8 on November 27, 2010, 02:32:39 pm
I know this the Mk 5 forum .... but wondered when existing Mk 5 owners thought the Golf R prices may come down a bit and what to ??

Having sold my Edition 30 and moved via a Z4M Roadster to a 320d coupe I am beginning to feel the need for 4wd and Edition 30 style power

The mk 6 is only having a short run till the mk7 is out so I can't see prices falling.

How short is the MK6 run... it's typically 4 years between revisions?

Secondhand R prices fluctuate quite abit and when the secondhand market gets more R's into it when VW start churning them out with this years orders by mid next year earlier ones prices will fall. If your talking new price forget it they will just go up and up due to taxes and built to order. But nearly new, there maybe a few as i bet theres alot of cancelled orders out there due to long delays and build times, dealers talking BS about delivery times and messing people about, but dealers will try and keep these cars prices up.
