Title: Service due - What should I ask for re looking for quote?
Post by: Fizman on December 09, 2010, 04:36:52 pm
Hi guys,

My 2006 Candy White baby is due her 6th service (85k kms).

Service history so far:

1. 3,023km Jan 2007: Oil change service

2. 19,629km July 2007: Interval/Oil Service

3. 37,239 km Apr 2008: Interval/Oil Service + Air filter element changed

4. 52,253 km May 2009: Oil/Interval Service + Inspection + Brake Fluid Service

5. 68,000 km Feb 2010: Oil/Interval Service + Inspection + Long Life oil used + Spark plugs changed + Air filter element changed + Dust and pollen filter insert changed

6. ..........

What do you think I should be asking to get done? Timing belt and water pump? I've a few days off over the next few weeks and I'd like to know what kind of quotes to be looking for........tax and insurance are both up too! :(

Any suggestions appreciated.

Timing belt & water pump should have been done at 4th year service mate so you will need to budget for this on top of everything else. :happy2:
