Title: im having trouble fitting a gti bumper onto my gt tdi????

i recently bought a new gti bumper to fit onto my gt tdi but the bumper doesnt seem to fit? which mofifications do i need to do to make this fit will i need a new bumper carrier?

It will need trimming where the grille would go as it hits the plastic carrier.

Or you need to replace the whole carrier itself with a gti/gt one.  http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=67969.0

I didnt bother on mine and just trimmed it  :happy2:

Slide it on, look where its hitting the carrier and trim those bits off!!

Slide on again, check, trim

Slide on again, check, trim

Slide on again, check, trim

Get the idea??  :signLOL:

Its all behind where the main grille would go.
