Is it possible to get a farly decent GT TDI? with the usual luxuries? all seem 80k mileage - which I've been told not tooi much of an issue with the MK5 engine.?

Certainly for £10k you should certainly get a reasonable to fully loaded 06/56/07 GT TDI Jonny. I've been looking at GT Sport's with the TDI 140 engines and there are lots with 30-70k mileage between £8k-£11k. Mileage and spec will drive the price between those brackets, plus whether its a dealer/private etc.
