Title: Stone chips
Post by: Gtiain on January 04, 2011, 10:54:03 pm
Stone chips  :fighting:  :fighting:

Getting really annoyed with the amount of stone chips on my bonnet and just wondered what people on here have done? Is the only option to get it rubbed down and resprayed? Guessing that won't be cheap though so any suggestions are welcome  :happy2:

.
I bet if you drive with more distance between you and the vehicle in front you'll get less stone chips. Pull out and overtake from further back: You can see ahead better and it's safer.

Very promising but like the guy says its not a miracle product and although less visible to the naked eye, the chips are still there! Seems like a good product though, thanks for the headsup.

$44 postage- wow  :rolleye:

Im also tempted by the Dr Color Chip process. From reading their reviews and their demo pictures the dark colours do look good.
Im going to give my car this treatment once the spring arrives. My car is steel grey hopefully it should come out good.

I will post some before and after pictures, unless of course someone on the forum has already tried this product?????????   :happy2:
