In other countries they have different buttons. Also on the 170 bhp GT it has a 'W' button for winter mode.

Looks good in red and like the colour coding :happy2:

How does the colour coding look at night out of interest as I know red can be a swine under sodium lights for mis matching and always put me off buying red cars in case I ever needed body work doing.

The headlight work fine still steve and as said before it's not to everybody's taste but I love it.
It's about being original isn't it

Anyway small update. Got the Stengel on my fog grills and tinted the headlights.

It looks just great

I've tried and tried to get the right angle shot from the front, but it's so hard to get it spot on.

I'll have to find a hill, park on the brow and give it a go.

Love the new pics too but I'm not feeling the yellow fogs  :ashamed:

Just seems to spoil the effect of the black n red theme!!!

Only my opinion though.

Wheels purchased today, went for caliber vintage instead of cheapo rs reps as these are a bit better quality and build.

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Ftt256%2Fsmithyc1987%2FB0C8D959-BB73-468F-9E54-7EDD0C3614AE-3229-0000052B4E12396F.jpg&hash=6bda151a904df450fd28e7b1ce4c850ba810cd59)

18" 8j all round
Decided not to go staggered as still want big lows and a 9.5 rear wouldnt allow this.
Im happy

And yes i realise there reps but have a 10 month old daughter a house and a caddy project
So £500 instead or £2500 seemed a pretty good deal.
Also the caliber caps will be staying i will not be pretending there bbs lol

No il be keepin the caliber badges im afraid.

Id perhaps change the caps to somthing more unique. I know and understand you dont want to pretend to be somthing their not. And Calibre wheels look similar but are easilt distinguashable that there not BBS. My friend had smiley face centre caps  :P

So washed as normal foam,2bm,clay etc

Then das6 pro
Sonus pads and megs 105/205
Refined with af tripple then zymol rouge wax
Heres the swirling then a 50/50

How did you find the DAS6 - is it easy for a beginners to use and how did you fine the megs 105 - says it has deep cutting power (again, is it suitable for a novice?)

Thanks
