Title: BMW Drivers....
Post by: johnhol78 on March 06, 2011, 07:23:03 pm
Before I start i will say I had a BMW before the GTi BUT -

98% of them are complete tools.

Aggressive idiots who think that the badge means they can take on anything...

Shame he was wrong tonight and seemed very annoyed when I left him for dead........still screamed up to me at the next lights. Revving away.....oh look you got left again....

See, they're not too bad normally. At least it's a straight 6.

If ever I get driving grief from a BM', it's always the single exhaust pipe/straight 4 stuff in SE spec. 116Ds, 118Ds, 318D, 320D, 520Ds with the huge 19" multi spokes on etc... The stereotype is completely allowed to apply against the poverty engine and poverty spec BM's TBQFH, as it simply seems to be the BMW of choice in most of those "OMFG you drive like a coconut" scenarios.

The only thing I can contribute to the contrary of that argument is that I've never seen a MK5 GTI or .:R32 driven badly, although I appreciate they aren't as common

It's funny but, in my 335d I get people trying it on all the time, so I exercise both turbos.......

.
I also had a BMW before my GTI but I don't remember driving it badly.

I find it's more the women driving X5's who try and bully me. All the BMW drivers I've come across today in 177 miles have been well behaved.
