Title: GT/GTi Front Bumper

Hi Guys,

I have just made the transition to a 1.4TSI DSG Sport from what was my third EP3 Civic Type-R, the main reason I made the change was because I wanted something more economical but it also needed to be fun.

My new GT gas a good spec which includes RNS SAT NAV, Leather, DSG, Rear Parking Sensors, Factory Tints, Arm Rest, I am really quite pleased with it at the moment. It is the 140 BHP model and I will be getting that bumped up a bit with the aid of an AMD remap in the not to distant future.

Anyway I digress, I am I correct in saying that the GTI and GT share the same front bumper and therefore I would be able to get the GTI front fog lamp grills and swap them over from the GT grills which I have at the moment.

I am looking carrying out a compete GTI conversion with BBS CH19, therefore want to make sure what I am doing is right, please see a link to the grills below.

Is anybody able to confirm if the GT front bumper is the same as the GTI front bumper all be it with a different grills and fog light surrounds.

The later GT bumpers are the same as the GTI yes

Mine is a April 2008 car, and I do believe the bumper to be the same, here is a pic are you able to confirm.
