Title: Ramp rental
Post by: johnhol78 on May 03, 2011, 02:54:03 pm
Does anyone know any companies that rent workshop/ramp space per day?

Would really help taking the precat out of my car?

West London/Bucks/Middlesex area

you can get to all 4 bolts and the 1st lambda sensor by removing the airbox/engine cover. then under the car just remove the 2 bolts that support the hangers and loosen the exhaust sleeve so it slides backwards, 4 bolts for the aluminum cradle piece and then the 2nd lambda. all done quite easily from drive-on ramps.

Right the steps to remove 4 bolts and the 1st lambda sensor sound easy enough though the "2 bolts that support the hangers and loosen the exhaust sleeve so it slides backwards, 4 bolts for the aluminum cradle piece and then the 2nd lambda"

Does anyone have pictures of these parts?

Happy to have a go myself on the drive - got axle stands and drive on ramps - even though the front splitter hits it first....

Might jack it up then plave the ramp under the wheel.....then lower onto ramp.

There's a few of these type places dotted about. A chap I know who's up the top end of the country (Durham way) has used a similar place in his area.
