Title: DAB unit retrofit on a RCD510?

Can the DAB unit be retro fitted to a RCD510?

I read on another site it is £150 from VW but didn't know about retrofit?

I am guessing it may be an internal module?

Would have been nice to listen to Absolute 80's(yes I am old!) but could always stream it!

For some reason can't be spec'ed with reversing camera either

very nice, No wonder we down here in NZ have not heard about it.

No stations are broadcast Digital.

Post by: simonp on May 12, 2011, 10:32:35 am: I've read that DAB in cars is a bit hit and miss, due the pish poor transmission quality we're lumbered with in the UK. In no way are they anyway near ready to switch off the AM and FM signals yet, as the digital coverage is so patchy.

As for the eighties music, I just play my own off the SD card. I have one folder that has hundreds of 80s 12" mixes in it and it plays for days and days on shuffle!
