Title: Arb q's
Post by: Drapoon on May 11, 2011, 09:58:07 pm
I've used the search functions and still confused  :ashamed:
I'm looking to stiffen up the rear end ( no innuendos pls :ashamed:) on my gti after recent problems with arch rub on roundabouts / tight cornering. Currently fitted with kw3 coilovers and 10mm spacers.
Which rear arb would you reccommend I went for? I don't do track days so used for spirited b road drivng only. Is it it worth uprating the front bushes at the same time? I'm looking at the superpro bits and bobs but not sure if it's warranted?

I'm not far from the TT shop at Bedford so I'll probably head to them for an alignment check and fitting I'd fit the rear arb myself but understand re-alignment is essential after fitment?

Any advice welcome and be gentle!

eibach
autotech
H & R

they are the main ones although think whiteline do some too.

I went with Eibach as Luke from Jabba said the revised ones are now hollow which was a selling point of the Autotech ones.

The H & R are the mid priced ones I believe.
