Title: I'm going to be on TV!

Sky 1 are currently showing a fly-on-the-wall called Emergency with Angela Griffin (from Coronation St. and more recently Holby City).  It is a ten-part series about West Midlands Ambulance Service, who I work for.  She works shifts with crews and spends time in the control room and it is an insight into what we do.

As well as working on a response car I work as part of a specialist team (HART - Hazardous Area Response Team) within the ambulance service and a crew called us out one day to assist them and Angela and the film crew also turned up and filmed us at the incident.  

I don't know exactly when it's going to be shown, but have heard that it's the last episode of the series.  They have shown two episodes already so it will be in approximately 7.5 weeks time.  It's on Wednesdays at 8pm on Sky 1.  So that you know which one I am, the job was on the top deck of a double decker bus.  My team turn up to assist the ambulance crew and we are dressed differently to the normal crew so you should be able to spot me :smiley:

Well done  :congrats:. I was on our local news years ago when i was a retained firefighter.

Congrats on getting on TV. Hopefully it'll highlight some of the stuff you guys have to go through!

No not that I remember.  I have appeared in Supermarket Sweep before though (NOT as a contestant I'd like to add - my mate was on it and I was in the audience and had the camera right on me for a few seconds) :grin:

Yeh, you could only see the back of me, but that's not such a bad thing :grin:  I was shown in the opening credits, then about 56 mins into the show!

I was the only chick on that job so it should have been pretty easy to spot me :happy2:
