Title: JL Audio Stealthbox!
Post by: Manu_R32 on March 14, 2009, 01:09:06 am
Just picked up a stealthbox for my .:R32 today! Wasnt sure if to buy some audio bits for my car or a set of coilovers! Ended buying the stealthbox made for .:R32 and a 500/1 Amp. Look forward to getting home in easter as I will finally get to see the car again and have a new music system to play with! Anyways here are the pics!

Look forward to your comments and could any one suggest a reliable way in which I could get this from Cardiff to Gibraltar?

Get someone to come over to the UK in the R32 and put the stuff in the boot!

With the weight of the sub and amp you'll be mullahd for excess baggage on a plane and you wouldn't want to carry that lot anyway!

Alternatively, see what price it would be to have it shipped over. :happy2:

liking alot  :happy2:

its alot less hasle than custom making and that unit has had some excellent reviews, even the video's on youtube don't show it off to it's fullest as the sound distorts the video  and the perfect choice of amp to complement it. should sound very good!

you'll have to do the americans call the "boot mod" to increase the sound

(basically dropping the seat ski hatch to allow more sound through )

if your in no hurry then freight is your answer due to the weight

Looking good Manu, I would have gone for the coilovers though, the only soundtrack I would want to hear in your car is that lazy V6

Hey guys, thanks for your comments! Iv had these stuff in my room over the weekend and just got off the phone with DHL, they said it will take 2-3 Days to get to Gibraltar and will cost me £116. Better than having my car driven over just to get the sub fitted!
VC, I had a similiar stealthbox sort of thing with a Kicker L7 in my old clio and it was a 12" but the shop that made that enclosure has closed down ifnot i would have had another enclosure made but just with a different sub. Look forward to what you do with the 13.5! T88OMM as much as i love the sound of the V6 i do like my music aswell so thought why not...still got time for coilovers maybe at the end of my next uni term! As soon as i get the sub and amp fitted will try and get some pics up and hopefully write something good about it. As the factory Head Unit will have to come out I might be interested in selling it onto some one along with a JL Audio Cleansweep, if none of you are sure what it does heres a link:

Thanks again!  :happy2:

Honestly doubt I will be able to drive up as the chances of my dad letting me bring the car here is close to none. Although I can drive up to Portugal for day or two if you want? We tried to arrange this last year but it just did not happen!
