Title: Shell V Power discount day

Anyone know if it's today or tomorrow?  I saw a note stuck on the pumps last week in my local Shell garage but can't remember what it said!  :stupid:

This was at the one on the ring road in Leeds (near Makro).. Roydsbeck?  Don't know if it's at all locations..

Anyone more awake than me?

Not sure - was not on my local pumps this morning. Still, I went ahead and used my £15 V-Power voucher  :happy2:

I put £50 in yesterday in Swansea didn't see any sign of discounts. If there is please let us know!!

I got 3p/litre off V+ on Wed 22nd @ my local - Glenfield, Leics  :happy2:

Hi again.  Just got back from Shell Leeds Roydsbeck on the ring road..  For today only, and each garage will be on a different day (!), they are selling V-Power at the same cost as regular unleaded..  :happy2:

So, instead of £1.41/litre it's £1.33/litre - ish!  There is a man in a 'V-Power' jacket who welcomes you as you drive into the forecourt, and says "Try V-Power today for the same price as your usual unleaded!" to which I replied, "I use V-Power anyway".  He then gives you a voucher in addition to the discounted rate on the pumps..

Good result!  Coming to a Shell garage near you.. sometime..

I filled up a full tank of vpower yesterday ready for the weekend. bet i will drive past my local garage and see someone handing out vouchers now. doh.

Take the scenic route on the way there and don't get any higher than 3rd gear. You'll need a top up then :evilgrin:

I wonder if theres any way of finding out what days and where they are doing it as I need to brim mine before the drive tomorrow and wouldn't mind it being a bit cheaper

you also know petrol prices have dropped 3p a litre at tesco too due to price of a barrel going down so dont be fooled by shell

Im here now, went on the boring A66 and A1 and used less than 1/4 of a tank so no need for a top up anyway. Plus ive had a few beers so the cars parked up for the night :drinking:
