Title: BRAKES AND DISCS

Hi people ive had a quote of £330 from vw stockport for  a full set of discs and pads warning sensors  for a mk5 gti just parts not fitted
Does anybody on here know any where cheaper?
Will i need the warning sensors my pads are not down to metal.

Crazy it sounds but this the first time the brakes will be changed its on it original pads and disks from new my car is 54 plate with 30 k on the clock

go eurocarparts pal and get the ATE or Pagid stuff, will be fine :happy2:

There's allways cheaper stuff (on ebay and so on).
I won't go below OEM VW, Ate, Brembo or Pagid.

Fitting brake discs and pads also is very easy if you have a skilled friend.

without much trying, for a full set of OEM VW Discs and pads, I got a price of £199.90 (inc Vat) from my VW TPS.  Seems the VW dealer is taking the wee wee.

TPS supplies VW dealers with all their OEM parts.

Pagid are excellent but you wont be far off from dealer prices at TPS giv gsf a call they do jurid ones they are good quailty and dnt break the bank balance
