Hi,

Not sure if I'm posting in the right area but here goes.. :chicken:

Just thought I might try help some forum members out.

I have a friend who has a contact at a VW garage, that can get me Longlife Engine oil 3,(Used for variable servicing), Genuine VW stuff for £32, 5ltr container. I'm getting 2 for myself, can take pics of the item  and forward on if needed.

If anyones interested and in the Manchester area, or along the M61, I can meet up if you want some.

May well be Quantum, waiting for mine, so will know when I get it.

Is Quantum, any better or worse than any other that VW use?

A quick look on fleabay and you can get the same oil for £28 Inc del.

Check the Quantum stuff is VW504 approved. It wasn't on the approved list when I last checked!

Quantum is a VAG brand.

Quantum LL 3 is VW 504 00 / 507 00 approved  :happy2:

I beleive it to be 504/507 approved. 5W-30

Is this the latest spec for LL3?

It is approved, and is made by castrol underneath

TPS do it in 20L barrels for under £70 - I always buy mine en mass!
