Just a heads up for anyone looking for new tyres. My car went through its M.O.T yesterday but the tyres were advisory. Managed to pick these (http://www.camskill.co.uk/m54b0s16p12403/VREDESTEIN_TYRES_CAR_VREDESTEIN_ULTRAC_SESSANTA_-_225_45R17_94Y_XL_TL_) up at what seems like a very good price. They are obviously not fitted for this price but my local tyre fitter have offered to do all the usual bits you expect for £30 for all 4.

Tyres are still expensive at the moment though. It was probably about this time last year that I picked up 4 new Sessantas for £78 each.

I did originally have my eye on some Michelin Pilot Sport 3's from ATS Euromaster who were offering 25% if you buy 4 however the deal only applies if you buy in store. They price them up at £112 if you buy them online but £159 if you buy instore! Meaning that it will actually cost you more to go in store and get 4 tyres with their 25% 'discount' than it would if you bought them online. Such a con.

sorry noob question here. If i buy 2 Vreds off Cam Skill basically they will deliver them to my house and then i need to take them to a tyre fitter and pay them to fit them?

I'm new to this game but wanna learn to see the light  :grin:

Yes. Ordered some tyres for my friend on Tuesday about 3pm - they were delivered on Wednesday at 10am! Can't fault that!

You guys rate these tyres quite high then! Worth buying these over a set of Uniroyal RS2 tyres as I'm looking for a pair of tyres ATM. And these 2 same to be in the same price bracket! Also how's wet weather grip with these?

Copes with my Stage 2 300 estimated bhp Edition 30 with no problem.
A very pretty tyre to look at (if that floats your boat  :ashamed:)
