Title: White worm...
Post by: holty on July 29, 2011, 03:51:02 pm
Just been sticking some new wheel nut covers on my wifes MK6 GTD and spotted this on one alloy.

Is this the start of the dreaded white worm?

being a bit new to the MK5, having had other Golfs in the past...what is the cause of the wheel issue?  and the remedy?

it's a form of corrosion.

If you do a search Red Robin has written a guide which lists the options you have at your disposal :happy2:
