Hi guys,
First post so please go easy on me!
Im retro fitting headlight washers to my Mk5, i have done all the searchs but im unable to find out how to install the Kufatec loom. I have everything including the larger washer bottle. Just need to know where to install the main 3 wire loom, also the other part with the relay. As you can guess I didnt get any instructions with the loom.
Many thanks for any help.

Manual wiring SRA VW Golf V/ Touran
Please disconnect the battery before starting installation.
Please wire the loom to the following connections:
Wire configuration:
- Remove the battery as well as the cover behind
- Wiring through the tull behind the battery towards the footwell
- Wire the loom in the engine compartment towards the head light on the right hand side to the
tank
- Place the relay above the control unit for central electric
- Red/ White loom to PIN 8 of the relay socket
- Yellow loom to the control unit for central electric – connector D – PIN 8
- Mount the relais socket again
- Black/ Yellow – Fuse box
- Brown – Ground
- Violett (Water) – 35-pole connector of the instrument cluster PIN 34

Very helpful
Kufatec have now changed their loom colour from Black/Yellow to GREY for reference.
The loom is also not long enough to reach the drivers side via the battery side grommet. Use one of the drivers side ones instead.

Interesting, thanks. Doing this and another mod through the week, is the drivers side grommet easily identifiable or do I need to remove loads of panels to get to it?

I am interested in installing feature on my vehicle, anyone able to suceed in carrying this out? sorry to bring up an old thread but better than making a new one!

Ive done it. It took a morning, but wasn't easy in places and requires a reasonable amount of skill and wiring to be done, plug vagcom coding.

Gti Edition 30 mate
I haven't got a guide, but best thing you can do is get a copy of the diagram that shows all the parts. This site http://furmanka.blogspot.com/2007/12/mk5-wiata-ksenonowe-z-samopoziomowaniem.html (http://furmanka.blogspot.com/2007/12/mk5-wiata-ksenonowe-z-samopoziomowaniem.html) has a guide for the headlight washers towards the bottom, and theres other threads on the site that tell you a bit more
Tip wise, you'll want to put the wiring through most likely the bonnet cable grommet - theres enough space, and its watertight so ideal for using.
