Well, if the truth is told, I can't really claim the credit for the recent glossy appearance of my car! It's all down to a visit I had from Adi from Deep-Shine Detail last Thursday.
Following on from the recent posts by Monte and Neilgti showing their experiences of Deep-Shine Detail, I decided to contact Adi and see whether he was prepared to travel up to Leeds from Lincoln to sort out my GTI before VW Festival last Sunday. I decided to go for the Full Enhancement Detail plus the Engine Bay Detail add-on. This included a single-stage machine polish which, along with the engine bay, could be completed in one day.
The costs were as follows:
Enhancement Detail £165
Engine Bay Detail £20 when added onto the Enhancement Detail (normal price £35)
Travel to Leeds £20
Total £205 - a bargain I reckon!
Adi turned up as arranged at 7:30am and worked all day, near enough non-stop, till he was finally persuaded to go home at 8:15pm!!
All the pics of what he did during his 12 hour visit are here.. Deep-Shine Detail - mkV Golf GTI Enhancement (http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15242)

I cannot recommend Adi highly enough. He is one of the most conscientious, professional, amiable people I have met for some time and it makes him just the sort of person that you feel safe trusting with your pride and joy! If you are thinking of having any detailing work done on your car, give Adi a ring, tell him you're off the forum and get him booked in!

Hi Keith
I knocked them up with a few scrap bits from work! It's just some 3mm black PVC and then white and red cut vinyl lettering. :happy2:

Thanks Andy. It was a pleasure to 'represent' this forum. My car only looks as it does now because of this forum and the generosity and unselfish nature of its members! :notworthy:
