I'm on the slippery slope :scared: Having now done a few cosmetic mods it's time to move on to the performance mods :wink: First is Revo stage 1 in the next week or so. That was all I was initially gonna do but now I'm thinking of a Forge Twintake and also getting the car lowered a bit. Coilovers are a bit out of budget at the moment and I'm not sure if I really need them. So I've been looking at the Eibach Sportline springs as they are not that expensive. They should lower the car by about 25mm which will improve the stance. I have a couple of questions though 1. Will this present a problem going over speed humps? I live in an area where there are lots of them. 2. How will they affect the handling as compared to the stock set up? Theoretically there should be an improvement but is this the case? Any feedback from anyone who has fitted Sportlines greatly appreciated.

No issues over bumps, ride feels same as stock :happy2:

I'm on 20mm AP springs, 18x8 wheels and stock dampers. Ride is no harder or rougher than OEM over speed bumps, of which I hit around 40 a regular day :scared: :sad1:

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like it's worth doing to get the car a bit lower. My only concern with speed humps was whether there would be enough clearance to avoid scraping? Does anyone have any pictures of one that has the Sportline's fitted so I can get an idea of how the stance looks? Cheers.

40mm drop 18 monzas 5 up no rub easy

^ That kind of drop with 7.5J wheels with an offset like the OEM monza's and you should be fine. It's usually with a more aggressive offset and wider than 8J on that kind of drop that the rubbing issues come in from what I've found.

You won't have issues unless you add wheel spacers. They'll make it rub a bit when cornering. But OK over speed bumps.

ROH ECHT, cheers mate, very nice wheels you have there. It's the next thing on the list, probably in the new year now. I might go for H&R's now and use the stock dampers until they need replacing then go for better dampers then.
