just like little 'night lights'

I believe that that is whats know as a W8 light. :pomppomp:
-
Cool.
Who on here....did the modding to put them in the rear? sure it was same person who did the door handle lights etc. ?
-
That i don't know!
Shouldn't be to hard to run them of the power fed to the rear light via the ribbon cable :happy2:
-
Kinda makes sence......but need the actual part too....(red lights in the panel)
-
Cant you just modify the existing light unit and put 2 red LEDS in it? Seems to me the easiest way.
-
MMMmm could probably get a second hand one of these.....take the lights out and go from there.....just not great at this stuff :scared:
but whoever it is (you know who you are lol) also does the inside handle lights too....with looms
-
It was Eddie_NL bud, if you need a spare light unit just let me know i have bothe front and back in either white or black :happy2:

:happy2: you? lol
Ooo and I believe rich, they are map reading lights lol
-
The map reading lights are the bright spot light type ones on either side of the interior light the red ones are called ambient lighting and are for soft lighting on the gear stick and centre console.

You LEGEND!!!! :notworthy:
Any idea about the housing that goes round it? or do I need to drill holes and glue this in place :scared:
as for wiring, just run them directly of the other red lights?

I'm just going to drill and take a switched 12v supply from fusebox :happy2:
-
? two wires.....
you going to run one directly from the fuse box? the other?
Can you not just attach them/join them in with the interior lights in the head-lining somehow?

There's a metal panel next to the fuse box I'm going to use for earth.
Saves me slicing into wires :happy2:
