Hi people, sorry about this but I never understand this offset et business etc. anyone know if audi a5/s5 18 inch wheels will go onto an mk5 golf without issues.

I ran A4 wheels 18x8 ET35 that sat flush but they rub on the fronts due to the bolts that hold the wheel arch liner. So an 8.5 wheel will certainly catch. With the 8.5 wheel you will be needing an offset closer to +40 to pull it off.

If they're genuine Audi A5 wheels you'll need spiggot ring adaptors as they're something like 66.6mm where as the Golf is 57.1mm.
I'd guess like most things, you would be able to get these off eBay....
