Just fitted my forge twintake can't believe I haven't got one before. But now I want a remap but do I need and exhaust and if so cat back be ok. ( iv got a mk2 gti with a road race engine so don't want the mk5 to be loud as well. Plus what bhp would I be looking at with a map and twin take?

With your current mods you can get a stage 1 remap, 230-240bhp
If you got a downpipe you could get a stage 2 map which is 250-275
If you got a downpipe and hpfp you could get a stage 2+ map and your looking upto 280ish
a cat back isnt needed for a remap.
I have assumed you have a gti ko3 and not a edition 30 ko4.

Yeah just a k03 my local remap centre will do a stage 1 map with rolling road 270bhp, and only £300 so gona try them they have done a few of my mates cars and I'm impressed with there's so worth a try.

Maybe but for that price getting 250bhp out of it wld be cheaper than a harsh revo map :happy2:

How much experience does your local tuner have of the 2.0T FSI engine? I went to R-Tech & they managed to get 240 out of mine with a twintake, for £300. That included 2 dyno runs & the custom map :happy2:
