Title: Autotech HPFP Internals - GROUP BUY FEELER
Post by: johnhol78 on September 30, 2011, 10:53:03 am
Afetr speaking with Dave @PDT and SteveP I am seeing if there is any interest first before one is officially arranged.

Looking to buy the Autotech Internals or even the KMD ones if they can be sourced??? I know PDT have a fitting service though we'll keep that separate atm.

The prices can not be given at the moment as this will depend on numbers though a healthy discount should be possible if enough people sign up.

Please add you names below so we can gauge numbers.

Surely there are more who would be interested in this?

If not then the discount available wouldn't make this worthwhile.

Hopefully get to at least 10.

Are these beneficial to people going for stage 2 remaps?

Are these beneficial to people going for stage 2 remaps?

They are beneficial for any stage as well as standard. Main reason is to stop fuel cut on mapped cars. Though can make the existing drive crisper.

They are replacement internals for your OE fuel pump, once fitted it will become a HPFP (High Pressure Fuel Pump) iirc this will allow an increase from 110 bar to 130, as mentioned they are a benefit to the car in any guise but are a necessity if you want to remap to stage 2+/3.

I'm amazed that nobody has snapped these up - http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,35862.0.html - especially at the silly price of £280!  :surprised:

I've now bought one of the sets from W8Performance on the For Sale board. Arrived next day.

I'm removing myself from the list now. He said he had 2 left if anyone wants one now (an early christmas present  )

Yep, doing it Saturday. Sounds very straight forward.

Just need to buy some contact cleaner (IPA) and some canned air.
