Being as we're fairly new to the forum, we thought we'd share with you some of our Detailing work to let you know what we get up to on a day to day basis...
We were called by the owner of this RS4 to try to achieve as near perfect paint correction as possible - whilst the owner looked after the vehicle exceptionally well, he wanted to take the car's look to the next level by removing what can only be described as quite severe swirling!
When we arrived it was clear that the car was well looked after, as it already looked in good condition...

We set to work straight away with cleaning the wheels and carrying out our two-stage body wash, starting with the snow foam...

Just after we'd finish washing the car the sun came out, and only then did it become very apparent just how much correction work there was to do!

Having washed, dried and clayed the whole car we moved it inside to start the correction work. Being the hardest paint in the world this was in actual fact one of the most challenging cars to correct that we've met! However, as you can see below, we wouldn't be beaten  The picture shows correction completed with minor refinement still needed

The inside of the vehicle was thoroughly cleaned and treated whilst the outside was pre-wax cleansed and waxed with Lusso and the wheels were waxed and the tyres were dressed
Results...

Cheers for looking - hope you enjoyed it... there's plenty more to come

How did you go about the minor refinement after this photo? ...Like I mean did you do anything more to the corrected area?

Edit: hang on...I've just re-read your post, and understood it this time. I thought that I could still see marks in the paint that needed further correction, but i can now see that that is just the pearl of the paint, yes!? :ashamed:

After this photo was taken we refined the finish with a final finish polish and soft polishing pad on the rotary... it was also then further refined with the pre-wax cleanser by hand.
The whole of the paintwork had to be machined over three stages, so towards the end of the day we were getting a bit pushed for time and ultimately, the camera was put down to allow for the finishing stages to be down uninterrupted - hence no more piccies!

Looks fantastic mate. Such a huge difference!

Hi JPC,
No, there aren't any pictures of the full correction under light... we were simply running out of time as this Detail really needed two days work, but had to be done in one!
:happy2:
