I'm going 16gb and signing up for iTunes match. Not many places i go to that i cant get Wifi, to download my album of the moment. I doubt i would need 16gb for Apps/Photos, and i can sync everything back to Aperture and iTunes that i dont want on there temporarily.

With the greatest respect, I think anyone who spends £700 on a phone is mental. I spent £600 on the last one, but still can't quite believe I did.

I've just pressed cancel on that photo about 5 times (I'm on my phone) and wondered why nothing was happening...... Oops.

Just as paying a premium for a VW badge is :P

At the end of the day we all have our likes etc. I also might shell out £700 to start (although I will prob just go 32gb) I will recover a good portion of it by selling my 32Gb iPhone 4.

People always say "iPhones cost too much". Have a look at the Sim-Free price of a Samsung Galaxy S2. Then when you compare quality of materials used etc it actually isn't that bad.

Are you guys buying the handset separately?

Am trying to work out what kind of deal is likely to be best based on the current iPhone 4.

I'm just buying the handset as I'm out of contract next month so will just go to the 30day rolling one with OPoo.

I have £300 apple voucher to use + I can sell my 4 so for what it 'wont' cost me I think I'll get one and try it - still a little dissapointed though it wasnt more - I mean the device itself.

Not a massive fan at that price. To be honest it does everything the Samsung does.....

Think I'm going to do the same. I'm on the original £20 tariff with unlimited data.  If i upgrade will i keep my tariff as it seems I've used 1.8gb this months already so 1gb won't be enough!

P.S tesco said they will have tariff details in time for pre orders tomorrow

My 2 year iP4 contract doesn't expire till Jun 2012. So i'm buying SIM free and then will most likely move to 30 day rolling contract when it expires rather than upgrade. Then will buy iP5/6 SIM free next Autumn which most of the cost should hopefully be covered for with the iP4S sale.

Just registered interest on vodafone as I can upgrade without any extra cost on Nov 6th, which is 2 months before my "yr contract from the 3GS ends.

IIRC I had to pay £180 for the 32GB 3GS on a £40 contract so hopefully will be around that figure for the 64GB 4S

That is an impressive music/video collection.

I just tick the box to convert songs to 128kbps and it gets my 20GB+ collection on.
