Anyone have BT Infinity internet, home hub 3?

I download some torrent files and i have seen on the web than bt shape their traffic during "peak" hours and so speeds on such traffic is really bad...

anyone any experience?

not seen it as bad as it used to be.

newsgroups or rapidshare is the way forward.

on the few occasions i have used torrents....to download legal lynix installs  :wink:

i have bt infinity and on weekewnds i dont even bother trying to stream or download torrents anymore the speed is just crap!! im not sure if it varies from area to area but in london i would say its a definate no no.
