Title: GVK's mk2 VR6 - I couldn't find the Antique section....
Post by: GVK on April 18, 2009, 11:12:45 pm
Recently joined up, I'm GolfGirl's other half so get to drive her Edition 30 if I'm a good boy or she's 'tired'  :innocent:

My transport is an old mk2 Golf...

This is copy+paste from another forum... you get the gist hopefully.

I've had this old mk2 Golf GTI 16v for 7 years, was a 1.8 then 2 litre 16v had a few engines over the years, changed plans completely and with the kind help of some good friends, fitted a VR6 in '06

I remember you buying this MK2 back in the day, I was a fresh faced Polo owner on the Club GTI forums!

I'm glad to see you've still got it, bet its loads of fun with a VR up front!  What happened to the 2.0 16vs then?
