Just thought i would pass on my experience of this brilliant product, its used to condition Door rubbers/seals etc, it also has the added bonus of preventing the rubbers from freezing and making it sometimes near impossible to open the car in the colder months .
I know a few users report issues with squeaky door rubbers on the MK5, well this product may just help you, i have used it for a few years now and on cars that are renowned for having this issue and i have never had the squeak problem so i guess it works, i also find it keeps the rubbers looking better, whilst it also prevents the rubber from cracking, and help maintain its original shape which helps keep the door sealed properly, its also reasonable at about £5.95 a bottle, its also very easy to use as it has a built in sponge applicator, you just rub it on an let it do its magic 8)
the official info

Another vote here for Gummi Pfledge. Great stuff, as is a lot of the Einszett range. I find the glass polish and metal polish very good also!

Hows it compare to Zymol Seal, if you've ever used it?
I have an almost empty bottle of seal and looking to get a replacement, this could do the trick. :happy2:

Cheers bud,
I'll put an order in later, there's a few bits I need and I've heard good things about the Einszett range of products.
-
yeh its worth a try mate, only £6 too

Got mine today from eBay seller carcaredirect, and I must say I'm pretty impressed. Its like the old whitening shoe thingies you used to whiten your old school "pumps" with !
Smells great, real easy to use and a darn sight cheaper than the Zymol alternative.
Top Tip there 182, as always. Cheers bud. :happy2:

Im gonna get some of this, if only for the name
My MK2 seals could do with some protection so this should be spot on :happy2:

Used it for the first time today, easy on and it makes the rubbers look like new. No sticky mess and no waste due to the in built foam applicator.
Another top product added to the ever growing detailing kit. Nice one 182 :happy2:

OK, two other sources for this:
I use Sonax trade ranges, and they do their own version of rubber care - but only in a 5litre can! Sonax part no: 340505.
Also, there is a genuine Volkswagen rubber care stick, 75ml, part number 00V 096 310 A 020.
