Title: Flash player for iPad
Post by: gti yorks on February 14, 2012, 07:25:08 pm
Recently got an iPad 2 but can't play some videos on YouTube and Facebook because you can't have flash player on an iPad, it says apple don't allow flash player to be down loaded on iPhone or iPad, is there any app I can download which would enable these videos to be played??

Yeah but you know when a video has been put on Facebook or some videos on sky sports and the like, it won't play them as no flash player, it's annoying

Doesnt the native FB application on the iPad support Youtube video in an iPad friendly format?

Flash for mobile is going to die a death soon anyway, so i wouldnt worry about it.

If you jailbreak you iPad you can add Frash, this allows flash to appear

Or, if you don't wish to jailbreak download iSwifter, and use that as your web browser...as this allows flash

There are allot of personalisations available through jail breaking which if I'm honest is the main reason for doing it

You can also remove the restrictions apple put on the device making is quicker on the internet ect....

You can't break an iPhone or an iPad by jailbreaking. Do a full backup first, then jailbreak. :congrats:

If you don't like it, just do a restore on iTunes and it will be back to normal. :notworthy:
