I'm in love with your bucket seats shown on ur avatar - i'm practically gagging to get a pair. :drool: :jumping:

I am afraid the are like rocking horse poop. It just feels like their is a lot of them about cause Robin posts his in almost every thread :grin: :wink:
Your best bet is to do it how Robin has and by the R32 model and get them re-trimmed. :smiley:

They are an option from the factory, or should i say they were.
Have a look on a few of the recaro sites they do some that are similar, but you wont get the GTI logo, wont matter though once your driving.

read this excellent review it also tells you who Robin is

Defo might get a pair of these - dont have enough money yet as im spending Ã‚Â£5000 on new bodykit, fitting, exhaust, spaces etc..

....Yes but those are the standard range of Recaro seats available from several retailers.

The ones which TC and I have (and Greenouse), were specially made by Recaro for VAG to include as a factory option only.

....No, they are NOT the same seats at all - Nothing like. Look at the pics. The only similarity is that they are made by Recaro.

I'm referring to the seats shown on the page you linked to. Your first post referred to Top Cat's Recaros, which are the same as mine except in leather.

No sweat if you don't mind differently styled front and back seats in a road car.

The seat base is completely different on the Golf, compared to the sidemount of the CS and you won't get the OEM cloth on it - but nice if you want the same style.

Those look very nice and could be re-upholstered in Interlagos etc. But they don't look as if they have any floor runner adjustability. They look much more aftermarket if that matters to someone.

I've seen them in retrofitted into MKVs/Lupos/TTs, although usually with no back seats to be fair. Roughly Ã‚Â£700 each + rails... oh, and I NEED some!!
