Hi guys.
Years ago I was really into my mk2 gti, but it had to go as it was getting old and unreliable.
Im now looking to get back into a gti (mk 5 this time!)
Im in no rush and am happy waiting a few months for the right one to come up.
I had a browse on autotrader and there seems to be a mixture of decent deals (2006, fsh, 47k for £6990) but also dreamer sellers.
Given that, how much should I be expecting to pay (on a lucky day) for the following 'required' spec.
Black, 3dr, leather interior, highline comp, manual, not a 2004, ideally less than 50k miles and no 'mods'.

If you're looking to get maximum return on your money I wouldn't worry too much about mileage, but do make sure that the car has had all its required services and that the cam belt has been changed. Also check the air conditioning is working, and the condition of the seat bolsters. These are prone to wear, although less so with leather seats.
