Title: GTi and Leon FR differences
Post by: Lyons on February 29, 2012, 07:44:45 am
Folks, Im just curious as to what the differences are between the Leon FR and the Mk5 GTi engines that gives teh FR 11 extra brake at 208 in total?

Is it just a different map, or are there physical differences?

Am I right in thinking they're both TFSI still?

Apologies, early GTi and FR, say 06/07.

Was there a change at some stage?

The FR had 197bhp till 09ish. Then the upgrade similar time to the mk6 with the increase in power.

Ah, I misread the info on Parkers, it is indeed the post 09 models that are 208.

I assume the Cupra is just the same as the ED30 then with the KO4?
