Just saw this on my FB, tried it and it worked (bought something for the Golf, obviously!)

First 50,000 users to buy on eBay UK and pay with PayPal then use the code CUKFB1 at checkout.

i was having a full on blond moment, OH has just got a new iphone car charger £4.98 so totally free, knowing her she will lose it with a week, that why i got a new lead as we are down to 3 charge leads out of 7 apple products in the house  :surprised:

Well i just checked my paypal account.

My email stated my discount when i paid last night, but the FULL amount has been taken from the paypal account.

in other words i paid in full and no discount

anyone else?

Just checked, I have £16.98 payment from my account, with £11.98 being transferred from my bank.

Was what you bought over a fiver not including postage?

its no thing cos i was going to buy them anyway but odd that the discount was then applied but then the money was taken in full despite the transaction email stating the discount had been applied

will email them and see what they say

Did you click on the transaction details? On my paypal 'home page' it shows as the full amount being taken (£7.75) but when I click on transaction details, at the bottom of the page it shows the discount:

Did you click on the transaction details? On my paypal 'home page' it shows as the full amount being taken (£7.75) but when I click on transaction details, at the bottom of the page it shows the discount:

Apparently there were anomalies with some transactions and affected accounts are being rectified over the next 6 hours

The code was posted up on Hot uk deals but only lasted a few mins before it was spammed and removed. :confused: I thought it must've been dodgy at first but then tried it and it worked. :grin:
