Title: Scored Disc &'VW Warranty

Hi All

Just wondering if the new car VW warranty covers scoring of a brake disc???

Noticed one of them has just started to mark.

Car is only 8mths old with 7ish K

I weould think that comes under wear and tear unless the defect was there originally, perhaps a small stone got between the disk and pad (this happened to my mothers car 2 weeks ago, she asked me to drive it as it was "Making a funny noise!" had a look and see a little stone in there!)

If the cars under 10K you will be able to make a claim under warranty, after 10K I'm Afraid not

I got all my brakes and pads replaced under warranty on my 11 plate caddy van, it was only 10 months old and had covered 6k.... the rears had all pitted and scored and the fronts had some big scores on them......... daft thing is they are coming off soon to be replaced with some magic from 2 forum members...... all will be revealed in the coming weeks with a full thread on here........ :happy2:
