Don't think they're allowed to integrate email and browser programs any more under some European freedom of choice/monopoly law. I expect you can download IE & OE from the Microsoft website?

A quick google shows that OE doesn't work with W7. You have to use Windows Live Mail, which is basically Hotmail, as far as I know...

Windows 7 does come with its own Email / Mesenger client which has replaced OE. I've not set mine up to use that however.

But as others have said if you want outlook you'll need to buy Outlook 2010 seperately or as part of Office 2010 etc.

All your accounts in one place

Windows Live Mail puts the email accounts you choose—like Hotmail, Gmail, or Yahoo! Mail—in one program, so you can get all your email messages in one place on your desktop. And if you're also using the online services of Windows Live, your calendars and contacts will stay in sync between your PC and the web.

Could use Mozilla Thunderbird and then this guide?

Once you have some sort of email program on your pooter when you click an email link online you'll get a choice of which email you want to use and can set a default.

Windows Live Mail is completely separate from Hotmail. You can use any email account with it. It has Calendar and all the other stuff you would expect as well.

Look out for Windows Live Essentials on Microsofts website.

Just managed to link my gmail account in.  Emails are sorted including all the sub folders which is good.  Just need to sort the calender issues now  :happy2:
